The politics of two Sudans: the South and the North 1821-1969
The Nordic Africa Institute.
1994 (English)Book (Other academic)
Abstract [en]

A vivid and telling account of the political history of Sudan between 1821 and 1969. It clearly testifies to why the so-called Republic of Sudan is in reality two Sudans: North Sudan and South Sudan. The two differ in every substantive aspect: geographically, ethnically, culturally and religiously.
