The South African tripod: studies on economics, politics and conflict
The Nordic Africa Institute.
1994 (English)Book (Other academic)
Abstract [en]

In November 1993 the interim constitution was signed for a new South Africa without racially defined rights, without bantustans, and with universal suffrage for all adults. But what South Africa is emerging? What are the chances for peaceful transition and economic development, and who are the actors in the process? This book gives a well-documented and up-to-date background and analysis of the crucial tripod of peace and conflict, economics, and the political path to democracy.
